You may be right that what's happening now is pointing to a symptomatic issue with our culture. That issue is division. You have done nothing but point the finger back at those you oppose with this article and furthered that problem. The wisdom of the collective whole (including those who you so clearly oppose in this article) is what will save us. Diversity is nature's way of survival. You cannot have diversity by blanket disapproval of points of view you disagree with. We need to respect all points of view. There's not only wisdom, but truth in that. I wonder why you are so eager to seek the falsehood in what you cannot fathom as true instead of the bits of truth that may actually exist there. Bits of truth exist everywhere.

The problem is an US and THEM mentality. And you are part of that problem, clearly, by writing an article like this.
